These Terms govern your use of the OvKit plugin and the ovkit.com website, operated by Ovanap. By purchasing or using OvKit, you agree to these Terms.

License

OvKit is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2.0 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later), the same license that WordPress itself uses. This means:

  • Freedom to use — install OvKit on as many sites as your plan allows, for any purpose, personal or commercial
  • Freedom to study — all source code is open and readable, no obfuscation, no encoded files
  • Freedom to modify — fork it, customise it, adapt it to your needs
  • Freedom to distribute — share modified versions under the same GPL-2.0+ license

Your paid plan does not buy the code — the code is free and open source. What you pay for is access to Pro features (which are also GPL-licensed), automatic updates delivered through our update server, and technical support from the OvKit team. This is the same model used by GeneratePress, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce extensions, and the vast majority of commercial WordPress plugins.

If your license expires, all features you had enabled continue working. You lose access to future updates and support, but nothing gets locked or deactivated. We believe in honest licensing: you paid for it, it keeps working.

Plans and payment

  • All paid plans are billed annually in advance
  • Prices are in EUR, exclusive of applicable taxes
  • Renewals are automatic unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard
  • No lifetime deals are offered

Site limits

Each plan specifies the number of sites where OvKit Pro can be activated. “Site” means one WordPress installation on one domain. Staging and local development environments do not count toward your limit.

Limitation of liability

OvKit is provided “as is.” While we test extensively and provide rollback functionality for Pro users, we are not liable for any damage caused by enabling features on your site. Always test on a staging environment first.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes will be resolved in Norwegian courts.
