Privacy

ovkit.com is the home of the Ovanap Admin Toolkit WordPress plugin. It is run by Ovanap (Monine AS), Norway. Contact: hello@ovanap.no.

What we collect

  • Your email address, if you join the Pro waitlist. We store it, with the time you signed up, in this site’s database. We use it once, to tell you when Pro can be bought. We do not share it or add it to any other list.
  • Server logs. Like every web host, our host (Hostinger) logs requests to the site, including IP address, browser and the page requested, to run and protect the service.

That is all. This site has no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Downloading the free plugin does not need an account or an email address.

The plugin itself

The Ovanap Admin Toolkit plugin does not send data from your site to us or to anyone else. Tracking features you switch on (for example Google Tag Manager by ID) load those services on your site, under your own privacy policy.

The Pro add-on

Pro uses the Freemius SDK for its licence and updates. When you enter your licence key, Pro sends Freemius your name and email (from the WordPress admin account), the site address and title, the WordPress, PHP, Pro and SDK versions, the site language and the country of the server. After that it checks the licence and looks for updates regularly. Without a licence key, Pro sends nothing.

Payments

Pro is sold through Freemius, Inc. (USA), which acts as the merchant of record: it runs the checkout, takes the payment (through its card and PayPal processors), charges the right VAT and sends the invoice. Freemius receives your name, email, billing address and country, and the payment details; we never see your full card number. Freemius shares with us your name, email, country, what you bought and the payment status, so that we can give support and refunds.

Your rights

Email hello@ovanap.no to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We delete waitlist addresses on request, and the whole list once Pro has launched and we have sent the one announcement. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
